This album is FIRE!!! I’m not even a big Country fan. I appreciate most forms of music, Country included. These songs are full of passion and the performance matches that passion. I’ve spent a lot of time listening to this album repeatedly from start to finish and over again. I’m no authority on the genre, but I think this album is my favorite of Chris Stapleton. Thanks for the great music, man!

I am an All-American Country Fan. That is why I am writing this review. I mean, Chris, Beyonce sings better country than this. You could do better. “Think I’m In Love With You” is like nails on a chalkboard to me. “White Horse” is the most terrible track in this album. Thank you for taking the time to read this. To all you CS haters out there: most of it is country, but that is not the important thing. The important thing is that they are all fantastic songs. Stapleton has found a home rotating from country to rock (White Horse) and pop (Think I'm In Love With You). A fantastic album and well worth the cost.

I’m a fairly new fan, and think Traveler was something to be reckoned with and then Starting Over was even more spectacular. This album doesn’t match the excitement and particular rawness that I so loved. Maybe there are a few tracks that are even better, but overall as an album and what he’s capable of, I was disappointed. Too sanitized, too standard. He’s a great talent and maybe if the mediocre music was stripped out this would be great.
