Nobody is making music like this but these guys. Such a great energy coming from a group of extremely talented people. You would be denying yourself a great experience if you don't give this album a listen.

Incredible, this album is a paradigm shift to a much higher level. Each song is a journey through musical surprises, emotional journeys and an all engrossing musical adventure. The groves don't get much deeper than what the players have created here. The melodies are inspiring and superb. It doesn't get better than this.

A brilliant blend of jazz, funk & rock. Each player takes their turn to shine-and SHINE they do! The musicianship & sound are second to none. Their versatility through this CD is quite amazing. Take a listen & enjoy the ride!

The new album from Bernie Mora and Tangent is even better than the last. The instrumentals have been refined and improved, resulting in some impressive fretwork on the guitar. The sax on this album is second to none and really helps lend to the atmosphere the record creates. The album has a good blend of in your face tracks as well as some relaxing jams to mellow out to. Overall a great album, can't wait for the next one!

I am no stranger to Bernie Mora's collaborations, from Dandelion's JBIII to his first CD; I think Transformation is the epitome of elegance and synchronization, and exactly the right step the collaboration of guitar, bass, drums, and sax players in the band should be moving to. Its upbeat, jazz/rock/salsa feel allows you to enjoy it in the car, at wine decors, or at any multicultural bar. I have listed through twice now, and still can't get over track You Betcha, For Cryin’ out Loud, Whisper, Reckess, and Psychopants. These songs truly show the evolution and step forward from his previous CD that send chills down your spine, especially that intro to Psychopants. You can not help but want to close your eyes and listen closely, as you can feel the countless hours these men have put into this work, it’s like sexy sweet decadent red velvet cake with a hint of spice for my ears. Bravo Mr. Mora, this is hands down amazing and worth 5 stars easily!!!

What a great album! The album seamlessly blends guitar, bass, drums, and sax into one great listening experience. It's impossible to fit this band into any one "genre", they offer a little bit of everything. Definitely one of the most unique albums of the year, simply a must buy.

This compilation of instrumentals features some great players and really keeps the listeners interest... Jazz, rock, and funk with some latin flair thrown in. Terrific rhythm section, guitar, keys, sax, and the best horn section keep this album moving in the right direction!
