While I’m not sure what the writer/singer intentions. The melody alone is so good.
My mom was my best friend, my soulmate, and confidant. I lost her.
She’s gone but this songs reminds me what kind of friend she was to me. We used to say ...hold my hand and we used to go so many places in our heads...shopping was her favorite. She would describe what treasure she found.
I would tell her omg how awesome. How much?
Just would say....too much. And we kept shopping. Now I can’t hold her hand anymore and pretend to shop, drive with the with blowing, eating together at the table. Just to do that again. One more time. I would give anything. This song rocks. Buy it.
