Wish I could go back and listen to father figure for the first time again. Truly an album that gets better and better each listen. Has a unique blend of genres and angry protective dad energy along with an emotional vulnerability all over the record. THANK YOU JON!

“But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law. God sent him to buy freedom for us who were slaves to the law, so that he could adopt us as his very own children. And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir.”

I am impressed by Jon bellion’s ability to write, produce, rap, and sing. He does it all. This album is his best work yet. A masterpiece.

A much more mature sound than his last album. Very real, and an incredible amount of reflection in the lyrics

Was counting down the days as this album released. The singles released as teasers and now the whole album. Perfection yet again. Much love Jon
Album of the year.

It’s Jon Bellion. His music is so complex that you have to listen multiple times to let the music marinate…then you’re addicted.
That’s all.
Keep it coming!

Enjoyed this album thoroughly. Seems to be a little bit of everything genre wise while definitely keeping the theme of the album in mind. Rich and broke is very catchy and My Boy absolutely wrecks the soul. Excited to be adding these songs to the favorites.
