La Vecina, La Reina - Gloria’s Still Got It

It’s been 18 years since we’ve had an original Spanish-language album from Gloria Estefan—and she’s come back with guns blazing. The title track and lead single, Raíces, held the #1 spot on the Billboard charts for three consecutive weeks. The fun and sassy follow-up single, La Vecina, has already surpassed 1 million views on YouTube at the time of this review.
The album itself, which has reached #1 on both iTunes and Amazon, is packed with gems. Standout tracks include Tú y Yo, Como Pasó, and Agua Dulce, all of which are currently on repeat—along with Chirriquí Chirriquí, Yo Quiero Ser, and Te Juro. Yes, I know I’ve almost named all of the tracks on the album—but that’s because it’s just that good.
Stop reading and go get it—now. You won’t regret it!
The Real Deal - TALENT

She is the real deal - TALENT!
This is not auto tune or the slide of the hand on a sound board. This is a PROFESSIONAL entertainer with EXPERIENCE and CONVICTION for her craft. I do not speak Spanish and am not Latino however, this music is UNIVERSAL and goes beyond the boundaries of a gender or a racial label. A TALENT such as this only comes along once or twice in the course of time.
Still so amazing!

After all these years, since first seeing her on Sesame Street, then bouncing back after her bus accident, Gloria still sounds so incredible like no time has passed, yet her voice somehow sounds so much richer. I absolutely love her work and this is another amazing album. 🫶
