I’m so blown away. when I heard Tenth Avenue North were back I was so excited, and I watched and waited for this album. I counted down the days, listened to the singles, and finally it was here. Learning to Trust. I listened to it from start to finish and it just blows me away. “Running With You in the Dark” is such a good song, I was surprised. the thing about Tenth Ave is that their lyrics aren't just the usual God is good all the time God is good (not saying that is bad) but their lyrics exalt God from every angle in this life. “Kind to Myself” is one of the most real songs for me since I am very insecure and I’ve had to learn to be kind to myself to be kind to others. “Take Heart” is so hopeful it just makes me smile. “Ministers” is one of the most fun tracks on the record and is one of my family’s favorites, and “Spirit Goes” is another song to live to (and sing) one of my personal favorites among the new batch. “Great God of Compassion” is an amazingly worshipful track that I enjoyed. “Through the Pictures” was an excellent track, the lyrics reminded me of Greater than All My Regrets or Control in the hopeful exultant way the lyrics are. and the closer, “All Shall Be Well”, is one of my personal favorites on this album (and totally called it being the last track on the album lol) and just ends this amazing record with more hope. with everything, all shall be well. I was so excited for Tenth Avenue North 2.0 and they did not disappoint. I would gladly recommend this record to anyone that asked. but the thing I love about Tenth Avenue North is that they have always been that one band I listen to that just always, no matter what exalts the Lord in everything. and Learning to Trust is no different. I am so blown away. keep going sirs, the Lord is with you. God bless!
