I have a cassette tape from a scratchy old LP of this album in the 1980's. I too have been waiting a long time for this reissue. The 1994 release went out of print almost before it hit the shelves. M'Boom is a jazz percussion classic by any standard! One note about the 'partial album' offered here: the tracks are out of sequence. The CD version includes these tracks: 1. Onomatopoeia 2. Twinkle Toes 3. Caravanserai 4. January V 5. The glorious Monster 6. Rumble in the Jungle 7. Morning / Midday 8. Epistrophy 9. Kujichaglia I surely would love to see M'Boom completed at iTS & given iTunes Plus treatment. Apple, please do what you can! Copies of this CD are in tight supply through eBay, selling for up to $60 new or $40 used.

I've been waiting for this album to be on CD (or iTunes, as it happens) for YEARS! How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Two thumbs up. Five stars. Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. If you've never heard this material, you're in for a treat. (I just previewed my review and it is calling me "Tough Cookies Joe." What the heck is THAT? Whatever. This is a great package of tunes.)
