    • New Vocalist Needed

I am a huge roots reggae fan spanning many years and many artists. Groundation in my opinion is for the most part one the best modern roots bands out there, both instrumentally and musically but with one exception, the vocals are just hideous. Harrison Stafford's biggest contribution would be back of the vocals and stick to guitar. So disappointing.

Groundation crush it. If you want to enjoy a perfect day by the pool: pull it in deep, breathe, turn this up, and go touch the bottom with your eyes open. Because when you're back on top and your ears touch the air, you'll open your mind, and hear some of the sweetest notes ever. Groundation will FILL you with peace.

Groundation should be in everyones cd case or ipods, really. they promote positive messages, are extremely musically talented and have great vibes, especially live. Please check out Hebron Gate and Each One Teach One if you at all like this cd. I truly believe that they are the best raggae band out today! I can listen to their music over and over and over and only get more into it. Truly great music, i give thanks to Groundation!

I am a huge Groundation fan and I think these guys are quite possibly the most revolutionary and original band of our time, not to mention perhaps the most musically talented. I just got this album, due to the fact that it is hard to find in most music stores which is a shame. As with all of their other albums, I was instantly fascinated with the songs. The great thing about Groundation is you hear the songs and like them, and then the more you listen to them they become even more amazing and you realize what raw talent and originality the musicians have. Ryan Newman might be one of the best bassists of our time. His eerie and funky basslines are very prevalent on this album, especially on Me Na in De and Nonbelievers. Words can't do any of these musicians enough justice. You have to hear it and be blown away. Another amazing cd from such an amazing positive band with the right message.

    • Does anybody actually listen to their lyrics?

As in We Free Again, and their earlier albums, Groundation's excellent music is compromised by poor lyric writing, characterized by dead metaphors, over-repetition, and an overall lack of meaning.
