What a beautiful and touching soundtrack: Alexandre Desplat is a composer to watch. He keeps turning up in different places and creates very individual scores that still retain this beautiful sense of serenity and poignancy. He's one of those composers like David Julyan, Patrick Doyle, or Kerry Muzzey, that we don't hear enough from. He has become one of my favorite film composers. Check out my iMixes for music in similar styles.
