Equally beautiful and challenging

One of the greatest albums I have ever heard. The first time I heard it I loved it so much and at the same time understood about 0,1% of it... I just kept wanting to hear it over and over again, solely for the pleasure and strange beauty of the sound itself, and started understanding it a bit more each time, consequentially enjoying it more and more. That for me is what characterizes true art.
It's not fusion, it's not straight jazz, it's not corny music from Western musicians trying to imitate Eastern music. It's something truly unique. Don't miss it.
Rez Abbasi's previous album, Bazaar, is also wonderful.
