Much better Todd stuff out there

Tried my hardest to really like this effort.
Just doesn't hold my attention or do any of the songs stand out. And that's rare when Todd doesn't have at least one song that stands out, IMHO.
Not horrible, just very "average" for most musicians, and below for what I expect out of Todd.
One of his best

The Waiting Game and Parallel Lines are both transcendent.

I brought this CD when it came out and had the pleasure of seeing Todd on tour. One of his best all the way through.

This song is full of beautiful blues melismas that are reminiscent of Todd's earlier days... a nod to his Philly roots. The gospel style vocal backups support the spiritual theme of the lyrics. This song is a must have for any Todd Devotee.

If you were stranded on a desert island with two records, they would have to be "Nearly Human" and "Liars." Todd Rundgren rules.
There's just something about this album

This album exudes positive vibes. It's hard to feel down while listening to it. I've been waiting for years to find this available.
Finally, I've been wanting this one for years!

One of Todd's "missing" albums, out of print and unavailable on iTunes and now finally, finally, finally here. There is an exuberance that runs through it, no doubt due to it's live-ness. The whole album sounds as if a party is going on in the studio with everyone having a great time. While all the tunes are great, highlights are For Want of a Nail, Parallel Lines, Can't Stop Running, Unloved Children, and the best track, I Love My Life. Buy it! You won't be disappointed.
