What the hell is wrong with you people.

Was it not fine enough to just realize that you clicked on the wrong artist, and let it be? We live in the intellectual dark ages here in America, and this is proof positive. Even if you don't dig "weird" albums of atonal piano clusters, just remember that Henry Cowell's music has been around for OVER A HALF CENTURY - do you even for a moment think your little womanizing, flash-in-the-pan, walking stereotype of a pop star's music is going to survive that long? You do? Wow.
Oh ho, I wish I had a Brain!

Kay, first off, to everyone who thinks this is Christ Brown the R&B singer, please... well, I'm going to try to calm myself because just reading through some of the idiotic comments of these people has completely ruined my mood. There is more than one Chris Brown in the universe dearies! It just happens to be his name. And for you idiots that actually BOUGHT it, THEN realized it wasn't R&B Chris, I've got no words. Have you ever heard of a PREVIEW!? And to others, calling this some piano crap, get some class will you? This is some of the greatest contemporary piano music out there and you're just putting it to shame. I give this album 5 stars, but to all the ignorant fools who thought it was R&B, I have no words.

Isn't it funny that the fans of the "cool" Chris Brown are all a bunch of idiots that can barely write a coherent sentence?! None of them seem to be intelligent enough to appreciate the music of one of the U.S.'s most influential, ground-breaking classical composers. The piano pieces on this disc are beautiful gifts, only for those musically mature enough to receive them.
HA HA!

I first heard "The Banshee" in high school. I was lucky enough to have a music teacher who loved all kinds of music, and that included music that some people still regard as avant-garde. Anyway, I never forgot that piece. I'm happy to find it here.
If you not only love all kinds of music, but are also curious about it, and you want to expand your horizons, check out "The Banshee" at least. It opened my eyes and ears when I was young, and maybe it will do the same for other young people who read this.
It's one of the few valuable things I learned in high school :)
Wow- are people really this stupid?

There IS more than one Chris Brown in the world! I'm not really into this particular music for enjoyment's sake, but I appreciate the inventivness of the compositions. I first heard "The Banshee" in music class as a child over twenty years ago and it left an indellible impression on me. I think it's still the most bone chilling piece of music I've ever heard. I give that particular piece five stars.
Nope not Chris Brown

I know this a new sound for Chris, but I think we have to respect his need to branch out creatively. You don't just want him writing "run it" for the rest of his career, do you? I think Chris's earlier work can really be seen as the inevitable march from radio-friendly R&B toward classical modernism and the compositional avant-garde. Mr. Brown's works for string piano are especially imaginative. I, for one, can't wait to see what he does next!
ARE U SURE THIS IS CHRIS BROWN
